Job Requirements

  • Level II background check and fingerprinting required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • No prior experience required
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Willingness to work PRN shifts

Job Duties

  • Keep assigned areas clean, sanitary and aseptic through proper use of chemicals, equipment and cleaning procedures
  • Provide courteous service to patients, visitors, co-workers and physicians
  • Maintain work stations and equipment in a safe, neat and clean condition
  • Follow all hospital policies and procedures related to sanitation and safety
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to appropriate personnel
  • Assist with inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies as needed
  • Comply with infection control standards and protocols
