- Completion of a high school education or equivalent (GED) preferred
Job Duties
- Provides clerical support for the inpatient hospice unit
- answers incoming calls to the inpatient hospice unit and routes caller to the appropriate person or takes and relays messages timely
- processes or assists in the processing of admission paperwork and information by assembling charts, faxing information and/or orders to physicians, pharmacies, durable home medical equipment providers, etc.
- follows up on outstanding items such as orders as necessary
