Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic computer skills including email, word processing and spreadsheets
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage schedules and workflow efficiently
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Must be able to work rotating 10-hour shifts including every other weekend and some holidays
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Job Qualifications

- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Basic personal computer skills including email, word processing, spreadsheet and graphics
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to instructions
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a team environment
Job Duties
- Greet residents, family, visitors and staff pleasantly and assist them
- Communicate necessary information to residents and family addressing concerns timely
- Provide a professional and hospitable presence at Independent Living entrance
- Coordinate with Transportation Services to fulfill resident requests efficiently
- Manage administrative workflow and scheduling of transportation for residents
- Prepare and maintain work orders for maintenance and housekeeping
- Keep front office organized, presentable and running smoothly
- Assist the Administrator of Independent Living Services
- Answer phone calls professionally and route them as needed
- Process receipts for rent and miscellaneous payments
- Handle mail sorting, weighing, and stamp sales
- Order office supplies for administrative staff
- Support Marketing Director with administrative duties
- Assist Management with special projects and tasks
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Director of Resident and Guest Services
