Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid State Driver's License
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required or training upon hire
- Ability to adhere to on call schedule
- Must be able to maintain vehicle cleanliness and functionality
- Ability to complete transportation documentation accurately
- Commitment to patient safety and professionalism
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid State Driver's License
- CPR certification or willingness to be trained
- De-escalation and restraint certification or willingness to be trained
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow safety protocols
Job Duties
- Safely transport patients to and from appointments, activity trips, airport shuttle service, and special events
- Pick up or transport visitors or staff as needed
- Transport patients for admissions and discharges
- Assure that all passengers are wearing seatbelts before the vehicle is started
- Drive company facility vehicle to pick-up supplies or equipment as needed
- Respond and adhere to "on call" schedule as required
- Accurately complete all transportation documentation
- Maintain vehicle logs and report maintenance issues
- Ensure all company vehicles are kept clean and functional
- Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers
- Work to resolve patient complaints when needs are not met
- Recognize that patient safety is a top priority
