Job Requirements
- Skilled in the proper and safe use, cleaning, and maintenance of standard kitchen utensils and equipment
- Basic knowledge of the principles and practices of safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene as it relates to food preparation and services
- Must be proficient in written and spoken English
- Must be able to communicate effectively and have excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Current Oregon Food Handler License or obtain within 30 days of hire

Job Duties
- Prepare food trays for general, therapeutic diets and special diet foods as necessary
- Preparation and delivery of food items as requested by patients
- Responsible for maintaining tray line in a clean and orderly manner and the organization of clean dishes and utensils
- Ability to operate a dishwasher and wash specified items by hand, i.e., pots, pans, knives
- Dispose of trash and garbage in an appropriate manner and as needed
- Mop floors, clean walk-in refrigerators and storage areas as scheduled and as necessary
- Receive, stores, issues, and delivers necessary food, supplies, and equipment
- Manage incoming calls, take messages and process phone orders
- This is a PRN position or "as needed."
