Job Requirements

  • College degree preferred
  • 1-2 years experience in sales or customer service
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Typing proficiency

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members
  • Basic mathematical skills and understanding of reporting, statistics, and budget
  • Ability to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and company goals
  • Ability to sit for long periods and work extensively on computer and phone while multitasking
  • Ability to safely operate a company vehicle or golf car
  • Regular and consistent attendance

Job Duties

  • Handle all phone, mail, fax, and email requests from private owners and their family/friends professionally and timely
  • Enter all reservations including room reservations and dining times accurately and promptly
  • Set reservation traces and communicate special requests
  • Enter all activity requests prior to arrival and during private owners' stay
  • Learn peak and rack rates, special event rates, discounts, package rates, minimum night stay policies
  • Assist with private owner billing using the Preferred Pricing Grid and keep Opera updated in real-time
  • Maintain rental program calendars and ensure blocked dates and requests are accurately reflected in Opera
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Blackberry Farm history, activities, and hospitality components
  • Assist Private Owner Concierge with daily tasks and reports
  • Support private owners/friends with specific requests while in-house and coordinate with appropriate teams to completion
  • Help private owners plan special/private events including creating event resumes for group meetings
  • Foster relationships through meetings with private owners
  • Guide private owners through the process of establishing home services during construction
  • Plan and execute owner-exclusive activities
  • Perform other projects and tasks as assigned
