Job Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret banquet event orders
- Food handler certification as required
- TIPS certification as required
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining club standards of professionalism and safety
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in fine dining or private event serving roles
- Strong knowledge of banquet event order procedures
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure under pressure
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards and certifications
Job Duties
- Read and understand banquet event orders and ensure events are executed as outlined
- Help set tables for different events and meal periods according to standardized and customized club place settings
- Know the menu for every event worked and greet tables in a timely manner while demonstrating menu knowledge and taking orders
- Serve food according to established service procedures and perform ongoing table maintenance
- Assist in the duties of bussers and captains during slow periods or as needed
- Provide beverage consumption and attendance reports to management at the end of each event
- Clean and organize meeting rooms and maintain banquet equipment according to manufacturers guidelines
