Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, hospitality, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in event sales or related field
- proficiency with Microsoft Office
- experience with sales performance metrics
- knowledge of CRM software preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
- willingness to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to travel regionally
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to work collaboratively across departments
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, hospitality, or related field
- minimum of 3-5 years progressively responsible event sales experience in convention center, arena, stadium, or hotel/resort
- proficiency with Microsoft Office
- knowledge of sales performance metrics
- experience formulating creative private events
- familiarity with CRM software preferred
- strong relationship-building and new business development skills
- ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- excellent organizational skills
- clear and concise English communication skills, both oral and written
- bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- ability to work effectively in team and cross-functional environments
Job Duties
- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans for Inter&Co Stadium as a premier private event location
- identify and source new special and private event business
- partner with Orlando City SC Facilities and Operations teams and other stakeholders to ensure successful event execution and client satisfaction
- research and stay current on market and industry trends to increase event volume
- evaluate potential business value of events and clients
- create and maintain relationships with local business leaders and venue partners to build sales leads
- prepare written proposals and present to potential clients
- conduct facility tours and provide information on capabilities
- meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and manage department budget
- communicate with clients to resolve issues and improve customer experience
- report sales results to General Manager of OVG Hospitality and SVP of Content Development and Private Events
- manage overall stadium calendar and maximize use of event space
- liaise with legal and event teams to initiate, revise, and execute event contracts
- handle financial reports post-event
- travel regionally for networking and new business development
- serve as main contact for industry meeting professionals, local tourism partners, and special event organizers
- perform other duties as assigned
