The Stadium Corporation is the dynamic operating entity responsible for managing Finley Stadium Davenport Field, the First Horizon Pavilion, and the surrounding campus property. Serving as an essential hub for sports, entertainment, and community events in Chattanooga, the Stadium Corporation supports a vibrant calendar that draws more than 500,000 visitors annually across over 200 events. Job Requirements

  • Associates or bachelors degree in marketing, business administration, or related field
  • 3+ years experience in event management and sales
  • experience in contract negotiation and administration
  • proficiency with event management platforms
  • advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Serve as primary contact for prospective private event clients
  • manage all aspects of event planning including client walkthroughs, coordination with managers, scheduling of staff and third-party contractors, event day execution, and post-event invoicing
  • collaborate with Suites Manager and contract caterer to develop experience programs, culinary packages, and pricing for private events
  • maintain relationships with existing tenants and routine event clients to ensure retention and growth
  • build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities using the Momentous event management platform
  • assist in creating new event spaces, concepts, and packages to meet market demand
  • execute Event Booking Policy based on contracts and desired event mix
  • generate new revenue through event packages, marketing, networking, open houses, and social media
  • outline marketing campaigns and email newsletters to support event promotion
  • develop and maintain venue marketing publications
  • attend community events and meetings to build partnerships
  • update finleystadium.com website ensuring SEO and customer feedback
  • perform other duties as assigned
