Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Prior experience in the field of hospitality preferred
  • Ability to provide excellent member/customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive and welcoming attitude
  • Enthusiastic
  • Must possess computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and email applications
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
  • Comfortable learning sales techniques including strong closing and negotiating skills
  • Comfortable with club site inspections or tours and presenting to members and clients
  • Experience with JONAS a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email applications

  • Experienced in conducting club site inspections and presentations
  • Experience with JONAS software is a plus

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and manage event bookings assigned by Private Events Managers excluding weddings
  • Interact with Private Events Managers through clear, thorough communication
  • Monitor contractual agreements related to event space, food and beverage, special concessions, and vendors
  • Communicate necessary information to club operations departments to fulfill client needs
  • Maintain strong member and client relations ensuring event specifications are executed
  • Review contracts and turnover notes and validate with introduction letters
  • Monitor deadlines for deposits and banquet event orders
  • Distribute banquet event orders weekly for upcoming events
  • Accurately forecast events and update management systems
  • Maintain open communication with club operating departments
  • Uphold positive relations with business partners and vendors
  • Consistently upsell food and beverage options
  • Optimize room rental charges
  • Participate in and conduct site visits and planning meetings
  • Communicate changes promptly using established processes
  • Greet clients on event day and introduce them to Banquet Manager
  • Follow up with clients post-event
  • Close event billing promptly
  • Engage in re-booking processes and support sales efforts
  • Build and nourish ongoing relationships
  • Perform duties of Private Events Assistant as needed
