Job Requirements

  • College degree preferred or 3 years of related experience in sales preferably in golf, hospitality, or service industry
  • Knowledge of how to use social media to drive sales
  • Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong leadership and people skills
  • Ability to work with little or no direct supervision
  • Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as walking, climbing, and lifting up to 20 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of how to use social media to drive sales including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest
  • Positive, engaging, and team-oriented workplace attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM software
  • Solid time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation and focus on customer satisfaction
  • Strong leadership and people skills with the ability to foster a team environment
  • College degree preferred or 3 years of related experience in sales in golf, hospitality, or service industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Duties

  • Develop market segments and solicit new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships
  • Sell and market to external markets such as corporate events, meetings, trainings, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, and personal milestone events
  • Act as an ambassador for the property, fostering relationships with individuals and corporations to maintain repeat business while prospecting for new events
  • Heighten awareness externally within the community through participation in public events including bridal and golf shows
  • Maintain a positive public image on social media and at public forums
  • Maximize tournament revenues by effectively negotiating tournament products and tee time utilization
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and management team to design custom menus and communicate upcoming events
  • Generate a definitive sales and marketing plan to meet and exceed departmental revenue goals
