Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • 2-year college degree preferred
  • Administrative and/or sales experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Basic math skills required
  • Effective communication skills
  • Solid time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Valid driver's license
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 25 pounds

Job Duties

  • Grow sales accumen to regularly meet annual, quarterly, and monthly sales goals
  • Manage assigned market segments and solicit new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships
  • Sell and market to external markets including corporate events, meetings, trainings, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, and personal milestone events
  • Act as an ambassador for the property, fostering relationships with individuals and corporations who book events
  • Perform administrative duties such as generating, revising, and distributing event contracts and work orders
  • Collect deposits or payment from event hosts
  • Maintain customer service standards during events by observing performance and providing assistance
  • Ensure host satisfaction by establishing a close working relationship prior to and during the event
  • Address host questions or concerns promptly
  • Work overtime as needed
  • Implement and support all American Golf Corporation initiatives and programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
