Job Requirements

  • Experience in meal planning and preparation
  • Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage inventory and order ingredients
  • Willingness to adapt to client preferences and requests

Job Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of various cuisines, ingredients, and cooking techniques
  • Basic butchery skills
  • Basic baking skills
  • Basic pasta making skills
  • Culinary degree or ACF apprenticeship preferred
  • Passion for cooking and food preparation
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, nights, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Meal planning and grocery shopping
  • Preparation and cooking of meals according to chef's instructions
  • Sourcing and ordering high-quality ingredients
  • Maintaining kitchen hygiene and food safety
  • Managing inventory of food and beverages
  • Communicating with Executive Chef and team members
  • Adapting to client preferences and new culinary techniques
