Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in high-end or Michelin restaurant environments and private chef roles
  • legally authorized to work in the United States
  • located in or willing to relocate to the Bay Area
  • excellent references from previous employers
  • flexible and willing to travel occasionally
  • strong organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented household
  • adaptable to family needs and schedules

Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7+ years of experience in high-end or Michelin restaurant settings in addition to private chef experience
  • located in or open to relocating to the Bay Area
  • legally authorized to work in the US
  • strong, verifiable employment references
  • willing and able to travel, passport ready when needed

Job Duties

  • Plan and execute daily menus focused on fresh, seasonal, and health-forward ingredients
  • prepare and serve family-style dinners Sunday through Thursday, with occasional weekend events or dinner parties
  • prepare simple snacks, appetizers, and occasional packed meals such as for camping or travel
  • shop for groceries and household food items, managing kitchen inventory and budgeting
  • maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times
  • collaborate closely with household staff to coordinate meal schedules and dietary preferences
  • travel with the family for short periods of 2-4 weeks annually as needed
