Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Previous airline experience preferred
- Previous experience in security, military, or public contact preferred
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation and telephone
- Ability to treat all information as confidential
- Ability to lift, carry or hold up to 75 lbs
- Physical ability to perceive colors and read badges and labels
- Manual dexterity to operate screening equipment
- Ability to verbally communicate in English
- Ability to sit, stand, lift and/or bend throughout the shift
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- No criminal convictions
- Must follow government, airport, client and company regulations
- Must adhere to conduct code
- Must be neat and careful handling property
- Must use company equipment, supplies, and resources responsibly

- Must be able to read identification badges, credentials and labels
- Must have manual dexterity to operate screening equipment
- Must be able to verbally direct and communicate effectively in English
- Must be able to sit, stand, lift and/or bend throughout the shift
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- No criminal convictions
Job Duties
- Provide pre-departure security screening of all persons and property
- Use walk-thru metal detectors, x-ray machines, and hand-held metal detectors to inspect
- Conduct physical bag searches to ensure no dangerous items are present
- Notify law enforcement or airline ground security coordinators when necessary
- Handle dangerous or deadly weapons safely until law enforcement arrival
- Verbally detain persons when appropriate without physical restraint
- Assist disabled passengers and provide incident reports as needed
