Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous airline or security experience preferred
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be 18 or older
- Reliable transportation and telephone
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- No criminal convictions
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Physical capability to perform job duties
- Ability to deal with all levels of people tactfully
- Must adhere to confidentiality and code of conduct
- Must be in proper uniform or business attire
Job Qualifications

- Manual dexterity to operate security equipment
- Ability to sit, stand, lift, and bend during shift
- Clean criminal record
- Pass drug tests
Job Duties
- Provide pre-departure security screening through metal detectors and x-ray machines
- Conduct physical inspections of persons and property entering sterile areas
- Ensure compliance with government, airport, and company regulations
- Communicate safety hazards and equipment problems to supervisors
- Detain individuals verbally when security concerns arise without physical restraint
- Report suspicious items and notify law enforcement officers immediately
- Assist disabled passengers and manage incident reports for lost or damaged property
