Job Requirements
- FAA airframe and powerplant license with minimum of 1 year of experience
- Excellent computer skills
- Must pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required
- Must have good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Must be able to read and write English and have good communication writing and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to pass DOT required pre-employment drug test
- High school diploma or GED
- 3-5 years proven experience in a similar position
- Has no certificate action since the date of the interview
- Has no misdemeanors or felonies since the interview date
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and be at least 21 years of age by 1/1/20
Job Qualifications
- FAA airframe and powerplant license
- Knowledge of Gulfstream G-IV Bombardier Global Hawker 800/900XP Cessna 560XL Latitude and Longitude maintenance
- Knowledge of aviation procedures servicing maintenance
- Adept in workplace safety best practices
- Understanding of applicable FARs
- Knowledge of computers and electronic software applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including ability to read write and speak English
- Ability to work well as part of a team
Job Duties
- Maintain and repair airframes and related components including flight controls, hydraulics, fuel systems, and mechanical components
- Conduct disassembly of aircraft by removing components cleaning/inspecting and properly tagging parts for inventory
- Perform aircraft maintenance inspections and repairs in accordance with regulations manufacturer instructions and company policies
- Apply technical knowledge of aircraft systems to troubleshoot and determine system and equipment malfunctions
- Maintain records in compliance with FAA and company standards
- Maintain premises of the shop facility in a clean and organized manner
- Maintain equipment and tools in serviceable and working condition
- Assist other employees in the performance of their job assignments through coaching counseling and guidance
- Perform other duties as assigned
