Job Requirements

  • FAA airframe and powerplant license with minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Must pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required
  • Must have good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Must be able to read and write English and have good communication writing and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to pass DOT required pre-employment drug test
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years proven experience in a similar position
  • Has no certificate action since the date of the interview
  • Has no misdemeanors or felonies since the interview date
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and be at least 21 years of age by 1/1/20

Job Qualifications

  • FAA airframe and powerplant license
  • Knowledge of Gulfstream G-IV Bombardier Global Hawker 800/900XP Cessna 560XL Latitude and Longitude maintenance
  • Knowledge of aviation procedures servicing maintenance
  • Adept in workplace safety best practices
  • Understanding of applicable FARs
  • Knowledge of computers and electronic software applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including ability to read write and speak English
  • Ability to work well as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Maintain and repair airframes and related components including flight controls, hydraulics, fuel systems, and mechanical components
  • Conduct disassembly of aircraft by removing components cleaning/inspecting and properly tagging parts for inventory
  • Perform aircraft maintenance inspections and repairs in accordance with regulations manufacturer instructions and company policies
  • Apply technical knowledge of aircraft systems to troubleshoot and determine system and equipment malfunctions
  • Maintain records in compliance with FAA and company standards
  • Maintain premises of the shop facility in a clean and organized manner
  • Maintain equipment and tools in serviceable and working condition
  • Assist other employees in the performance of their job assignments through coaching counseling and guidance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
