Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years experience in food service preferred
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift 50+ lbs
- knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations
- excellent communication skills
- ability to adapt to changing workloads and schedules
Job Qualifications
- knowledge of food portion control, serving procedures, and food production
- knowledge of retail operations such as station setup, replenishment, merchandising and inventory procedures
- knowledge of various kitchen tools and equipment
- ability to follow standardized recipes
- ability to perform basic arithmetic
- ability to work in standing position for a long period of time
- ability to push, pull, and lift 50+ lbs
- ability to work around and use strong cleaning solutions
- knowledge of, and adherence to prescribed safety, sanitation, and food handling practices according to HACCP and JC policies
- must have the ability to adjust to fluctuating work load and work schedules
- interpersonal skills to interact effectively with co-workers, customers, supervisors and managers
- able to read, write, and communicate in standard English
- preferred 1+ years in the food service industry
Job Duties
- setting up service lines for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- pre-plating food items
- restocking stations including beverages
- supporting operations as a food runner, floor person, or tray person
- displaying and merchandising food items so they are appealing and easy to access
