Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • proficiency in English speaking and writing
  • minimum 2 years experience driving vehicles
  • clean driving record with no moving violations for 3 years
  • ability to handle irate guests calmly
  • able to work under pressure
  • capable of multitasking
  • physical ability to run and lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to reach 12 inches
  • ability to drive automatic and manual vehicles

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent

  • preferred 1 year customer service experience

Job Duties

  • Greet and acknowledge all arriving/departing guests
  • anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly
  • maintain positive guest relations at all times
  • be familiar with all hotel services and local attractions to respond accurately
  • resolve guest complaints ensuring satisfaction
  • answer Bell Desk phone promptly and record guest requests
  • monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
  • review daily activity updates and assignments
  • remain in assigned post and maintain correct stance
  • open and close hotel entrance and vehicle doors for guests
  • assist customers with personal belongings
  • provide directions and local information
  • inspect vehicles for damage and mark valet tags accordingly
  • ensure safety of passengers' luggage
  • park vehicles in designated stalls
  • obey all traffic and driving regulations
  • communicate effectively and coordinate tasks with departments and guests
  • perform assigned duties as required
  • follow all company policies and procedures
  • operate automatic and standard vehicles
  • handle irate guests calmly
  • work under pressure and manage multitasking
  • run to retrieve vehicles
  • load and unload items from vehicles
  • endure physical movements and lift items up to 50 lbs
  • reach up to 12 inches
  • communicate clearly in person and by phone
  • follow verbal and written instructions
