Job Requirements

  • Must be proficient in English oral and written
  • must be able to multi-task
  • abstract (3 years no moving violation)
  • minimum 2 year experience driving vehicles
  • prefer 1 year customer service experience
  • high school graduate or equivalent
  • must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
  • ability to handle irate guests with calm and friendly demeanor
  • ability to work under pressure and manage stressful situations
  • ability to run to retrieve vehicles
  • ability to lift items up to 50 lbs
  • ability to reach up to 12 inches
  • ability to drive automatic and standard vehicles

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • proficient in English oral and written communication
  • minimum 2 years driving experience
  • preferred 1 year customer service experience
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks
  • familiarity with local area attractions is a plus

Job Duties

  • Greet and acknowledge all arriving and departing guests
  • anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly
  • maintain positive guest relations at all times
  • be familiar with hotel services, features, and local attractions to respond to guest inquiries accurately
  • resolve guest complaints ensuring satisfaction
  • answer Bell Desk phone and record guest requests
  • monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
  • review Daily Buzz, Reader Boards, and Guest Letter Activities
  • review log book with supervisor for daily assignments
  • remain in assigned post position maintaining correct stance
  • open and close hotel main entrance and guest vehicle doors
  • assist customers with personal belongings
  • provide directions and helpful local information
  • inspect vehicles for damages and mark valet tags appropriately
  • ensure safety of passengers' luggage
  • park vehicles in designated valet stalls
  • obey all traffic and driving regulations
  • communicate effectively and prioritize multiple tasks
  • perform other duties as assigned
  • follow all company policies and procedures
  • maintain high levels of organization and attention to detail
