Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of three years hotel experience in guest service
- supervisory experience preferred
- ability to present valid TB clearance
- ability to obtain Hawaii Liquor Commission Card
- current valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- minimum two years driving experience
- flexible schedule with willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, holidays
- ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- adherence to grooming standards as outlined in the Prince Look Policy
- ability to work both indoor and outdoor
- ability to work under pressure and manage stressful situations
- proficiency in English communication
- ability to stand for extended periods
- willingness to travel for business, training, or meetings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum three years hotel guest service experience
- supervisory experience preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken
- leadership and problem-solving skills
- proficiency with hotel management software systems such as Infor HMS, HotSos, Microsoft Office, OnTrack, Dayforce, Birchstreet, Micrometrics, and Saflok
- ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- good judgment and interpersonal skills
- ability to communicate and lead a department
- foreign language skills preferred, especially Japanese
- valid Hawaii driver’s license with no moving violations in the past three years
- ability to obtain Hawaii Liquor Commission Card
- valid TB clearance
Job Duties
- Oversee day-to-day operations
- supervise staff and interact with customers to ensure quality service
- ensure compliance with management procedures
- handle guest complaints and emergency situations
- field and research guest complaints to develop effective solutions
- maintain professional appearance and demeanor
- monitor hotel staff across departments
- coordinate problem-solving with various departments
- utilize computer systems for information access
- perform physical activities including lifting and standing for long periods
- inspect hotel appearance regularly and report safety hazards
- respond calmly and effectively to emergencies
- handle noise complaints, credit issues, employee conflicts, and guest relocations diplomatically
- manage front office sub area including scheduling, training, disciplinary action, and performance reviews
- greet and acknowledge guests
- perform check-in and check-out processes
- execute general cashiering duties
- perform additional duties assigned by Front Office Manager or Assistant Manager
