Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • minimum two years of progressive front office management experience
  • CPR certification required
  • ability to obtain Liquor Commission Blue Manager's Card post offer
  • current valid driver’s license with clean traffic abstract
  • ability to drive various types of vehicles
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
  • ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
  • ability to lift and push heavy items up to 75 lbs
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • willingness to follow hotel grooming standards
  • adherence to hotel rules and regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • college degree preferred
  • minimum two years of progressive Front Office management experience
  • CPR certification required
  • first aid training preferred
  • ability to obtain Liquor Commission Blue Manager's Card
  • current valid driver's license with clean traffic abstract
  • proficiency with Opera Microsoft Office Outlook On Track Kronos Birchstreet Data Park Micros Saflok
  • ability to manage a large staff and apply supervisory skills
  • strong financial analysis capability
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to communicate in Japanese preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare annual budget financial reconciliation and weekly forecasts
  • prepare annual operating and CIP budget with department managers
  • manage labor standards and direct expenses to maximize profit
  • develop and implement strategic initiatives analyze monthly financial statements
  • monitor and maintain compliance with hotel standard operating procedures
  • oversee Front Office operations ensuring high profit and guest satisfaction
  • control payroll equipment costs minimize loss and misuse
  • manage Front Desk Concierge Bell Parking Communications departments and Assistant managers
  • train supervise counsel and discipline Front Office staff
  • provide leadership training and mentorship to ensure operational consistency
  • maintain rapport with all departments attend relevant meetings
  • assist with Hotel Assistant manager duties as needed
