Job Requirements

  • high school graduate or general education degree (GED)
  • one plus years of experience in aircraft painting
  • ability to mix and apply paint per specifications
  • ability to perform paint booth maintenance
  • ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines
  • physical ability to wear personal protective equipment
  • ability to work assigned shifts including nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • Mix and measure paint per specifications
  • review work orders and confirm correct paint and part match before painting
  • clean parts according to specification
  • paint parts according to specification and thickness
  • maintain paint booth cleanliness and change filters
  • perform post-paint inspection for appearance and proper coverage
  • operate paint equipment and maintain it
  • observe safety regulations including wearing protective masks and clothing during spray painting
  • complete daily paint checklist
  • utilize all required personal protective equipment under OSHA guidelines
  • perform other duties as assigned
