Job Requirements
- Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certificate
- understanding and application of FAA regulations and aviation policy and safety protocols
- ability to interpret flight monitoring systems or similar technical platforms
- knowledge of weather patterns and their impact on flight operations
- ability to carry or lift up to 50 lbs
- ability to stand or walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
- ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
- ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- willingness to travel up to 25 percent of the time
- compliance with export control license requirements
- ability to pass Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing if conducting safety sensitive functions as defined by the FAA
Job Qualifications
- Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certificate
- understanding and application of FAA regulations and aviation policy and safety protocols
- ability to interpret flight monitoring systems or similar technical platforms
- knowledge of weather patterns and their impact on flight operations
- prior experience in aviation, drone operations, or a similar real-time monitoring role
- experience with technical or engineering record keeping methods and tools
- excellent decision-making capabilities under pressure
- familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Continuously monitor the status of all active drone flights within the assigned region, utilizing our state-of-the-art monitoring systems
- identify and respond to any deviations from planned flight paths or operational parameters
- ensure all drone flights comply with regulatory requirements and company safety policies
- coordinate effectively with the relevant teams to implement immediate response strategies to mitigate risks and resolve situations
- prepare and submit detailed reports on flight activities, incidents, and anomalies
- provide feedback and insights to support continuous operational improvement
- adhere to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes
