Job Requirements
- current FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificate
- understanding and application of FAA regulations
- ability to interpret flight monitoring systems
- knowledge of weather patterns affecting flight operations
- ability to carry or lift up to 50 lbs
- ability to stand or walk for shifts lasting up to 12 hours
- ability to frequently push pull squat bend and reach
- flexibility to work any shift including nights weekends and holidays
- willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
- compliance with export control license requirements
- ability to pass Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing for safety-sensitive roles
Job Qualifications
- current FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificate
- understanding and application of FAA regulations aviation policy and safety protocols
- ability to interpret flight monitoring systems or similar technical platforms
- knowledge of weather patterns and their impact on flight operations
- prior experience in aviation drone operations or a similar real-time monitoring role
- experience with technical or engineering record keeping methods and tools
- excellent decision-making capabilities under pressure
- familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- continuously monitor the status of all active drone flights within the assigned region utilizing state-of-the-art monitoring systems
- identify and respond to any deviations from planned flight paths or operational parameters
- ensure all drone flights comply with regulatory requirements and company safety policies
- coordinate effectively with relevant teams to implement immediate response strategies to mitigate risks and resolve situations
- prepare and submit detailed reports on flight activities incidents and anomalies
- provide feedback and insights to support continuous operational improvement
- adhere strictly to FAA regulations and Prime Air protocols
