Job Requirements
- Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certificate
- Understanding and application of FAA regulations and aviation policy and safety protocols
- Ability to interpret flight monitoring systems or similar technical platforms
- Knowledge of weather patterns and their impact on flight operations
- Ability to carry or lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand or walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
- Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
- Ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
- Compliance with Export Control License requirements
- Subject to Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing if conducting safety sensitive functions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Adherence to FAA regulations and company safety policies
Job Qualifications
- Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certificate
- Understanding and application of FAA regulations and aviation policy and safety protocols
- Ability to interpret flight monitoring systems or similar technical platforms
- Knowledge of weather patterns and their impact on flight operations
- Prior experience in aviation, drone operations, or a similar real-time monitoring role preferred
- Experience with technical or engineering record keeping methods and tools preferred
- Excellent decision-making capabilities under pressure preferred
- Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment preferred
Job Duties
- Continuously monitor the status of all active drone flights within the assigned region, utilizing our state-of-the-art monitoring systems
- Identify and respond to any deviations from planned flight paths or operational parameters
- Ensure all drone flights comply with regulatory requirements and company safety policies
- Coordinate effectively with the relevant teams to implement immediate response strategies to mitigate risks and resolve situations
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on flight activities, incidents, and anomalies
- Provide feedback and insights to support continuous operational improvement
- Adhere strictly to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes
