Job Requirements

  • Ability to carry or lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand or walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
  • Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
  • Willingness and ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Availability for travel up to 25 percent of the time
  • Compliance with export control license requirements
  • Subject to Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing if conducting safety sensitive functions
  • Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certificate
  • Understanding and application of FAA regulations and aviation policy and safety protocols
  • Ability to interpret flight monitoring systems or similar technical platforms
  • Knowledge of weather patterns and their impact on flight operations

  • Understanding and application of FAA regulations and aviation policy and safety protocols
  • Ability to interpret flight monitoring systems or similar technical platforms
  • Knowledge of weather patterns and their impact on flight operations
  • Prior experience in aviation, drone operations, or a similar real-time monitoring role
  • Experience with technical or engineering record keeping methods and tools
  • Excellent decision-making capabilities under pressure
  • Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Continuously monitor the status of all active drone flights within the assigned region, utilizing state-of-the-art monitoring systems
  • Identify and respond to any deviations from planned flight paths or operational parameters
  • Ensure all drone flights comply with regulatory requirements and company safety policies
  • Coordinate effectively with relevant teams to implement immediate response strategies to mitigate risks and resolve situations
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports on flight activities, incidents, and anomalies
  • Provide feedback and insights to support continuous operational improvement
  • Adhere to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes
