Job Requirements

- Ability to lift boxes up to 60 lbs
- Ability to operate a Telxon
- Ability to push pull 4-wheel equipment loaded with product
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read write and speak English

- Ability to maintain personal appearance and adhere to dress code
- Ability to work efficiently during scheduled hours
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Food Safety Certification or willingness to obtain it
- Ability to operate related equipment safely
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Experience in retail or grocery preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Observe store rules and company policies
- Maintain a neat well-groomed personal appearance and observe company dress code
- Observe shift operating hours as scheduled or assigned
- Adhere to local state and federal health and civil code regulations
- Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining a full variety of properly priced and signed items
- Rotate products in storage and on display to ensure freshness
- Maintain proper shelf allocations for maximum sales and profit
- Follow cleaning and sanitation schedules
- Remove trash and cardboard to designated areas and operate the bailer
- Handle damaged and spoiled products according to company policy
- Notify supervisor of product shortages
- Take overstock to storage areas
- Build product displays
- Organize and clean backroom stock
- Unload trucks as necessary
- Operate power equipment and perform cash handling functions for night crew
- Properly use store security systems and keys
- Maintain Food Safety Certification or complete training to obtain it
- Perform other duties as assigned
