Job Duties
- Observe store rules and company policies
- Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance and adhere to company dress code
- Observe shift operating hours as scheduled
- Adhere to all local, state and federal health and civil code regulations
- Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining full variety of all items with correct pricing and signage
- Rotate products in storage and on display to ensure freshness
- Maintain proper shelf allocations for maximum sales and profit
- Follow cleaning and sanitation schedules
- Remove trash and cardboard for disposal and operate the baler
- Handle damaged and spoiled products according to policy
- Notify supervisor of product shortages
- Manage overstock to storage areas
- Build product displays
- Organize and clean backroom stock
- Unload trucks as necessary
- Operate power equipment and Telxon
- Utilize register for cash handling functions
- Use store security systems and keys properly
- Obtain and maintain company recognized Food Safety Certification
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary
