Job Duties
- observe store rules and company policies
- maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance and observe company dress code
- adhere to shift operating hours as scheduled
- comply with all local, state, and federal health and civil code regulations
- promote customer satisfaction by maintaining a full variety of correctly priced and signed items
- rotate products in storage and on display to ensure freshness
- maintain proper shelf allocation for maximum sales and profit
- follow cleaning and sanitation schedules
- remove trash and cardboard to designated areas
- operate the cardboard baler
- open cartons properly to prevent product damage and handle damaged items according to policy
- notify supervisor of product shortages
- organize backroom stock and build product displays
- unload trucks as needed
- operate power equipment
- perform cash handling functions on register for night crew
- use store security systems and keys as per company policy
- maintain or obtain a recognized food safety certification
- perform other duties as assigned
