Job Requirements

  • A minimum of one year's experience in automotive/truck, light or heavy equipment maintenance and repair or completion of accredited vocational technical school program
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must have own tools
  • Drug test required

Job Duties

  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections in accordance with TICO policy
  • Ability to complete minor repairs to hydraulic system components, drive train, cab chassis etc. (i.e. replace belts, hoses, u joints, air lines etc.)
  • Completes required documentation using the fleet maintenance software program, ensuring accurate information is captured on vehicle repairs, parts usage, and repair times
  • Perform routine oil changes and parts lubrication per specified schedule
  • Perform minor replacements, repairs, and adjustments as needed
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures
  • Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Company standards
  • Operate unit to verify conformance to specifications
  • Detect unusual noises while operating equipment
  • Submit required job completion paperwork to Shop Manager
  • Performs other duties as assigned
