Job Requirements
- Must have relevant maintenance experience
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Must complete safety training and certifications
- Must follow company safety and security policies
- Availability to work flexible hours as required
- Maintain professional appearance
- Comply with emergency procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in maintenance or custodial duties preferably in hospitality
- Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing is a plus
- Ability to follow safety instructions and procedures
- Skilled in minor repairs and preventative maintenance
- Good communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and security
Job Duties
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public spaces
- Maintain, repair, and clean all guest rooms and public spaces in accordance with property room preventative maintenance procedures
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
- Complete safety training and certifications
- Report any serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards immediately to the manager or supervisor
- Follow policies and procedures for the safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines
- Perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, twisting, pulling and stooping
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by manager
