Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years of relative professional experience
  • 7 years in a managerial role
  • 8 years operational experience with major or regional air carrier or ground handler
  • Financial acumen
  • Interpersonal relationship skills
  • Strong leadership skills with solid communication and visionary mindset

Job Duties

  • Provide direct oversight of United Ground Express operations including passenger assistance and station services
  • Manage safety, quality, and compliance standards ensuring regulatory adherence
  • Coordinate labor relations and negotiate contracts with IAM union
  • Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and procurement processes
  • Oversee HR policies, compensation, benefits, performance management, and recruiting efforts
  • Foster strong interpersonal relationships with union leaders, vendors, and corporate partners
  • Drive operational goals, vendor relations, and government regulatory interfaces
