Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Read, write, and speak English
  • Submit current AZ Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card prior to start date
  • Must be able to travel to various centers as needed using personal or company-owned vehicle
  • Provide proof of immunizations including MMR, Tdap, and tuberculosis assessment
  • Able to pass company-paid physical examination
  • Able to pass criminal background check
  • Must prove right to work in the USA by providing documents to complete Federal Form I-9
  • Possess or have ability to obtain and maintain First Aid/CPR certification including infants and children
  • Possess or have ability to obtain and maintain Food Handlers Certificate issued by Arizona health department

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Possess or ability to obtain AZ Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card

Job Duties

  • Substitute in classroom, kitchen or custodial roles when a team member is absent
  • Follow teacher’s lead to implement daily routines, curriculum, food service, and safety practices
  • Support children’s skill development through individual and small-group activities
  • Foster positive teacher-child and child-child interactions
  • Build children’s awareness of health and safety rules and supervise actively
  • Participate in parent involvement activities including home visits and meetings
  • Prepare meals, maintain kitchen sanitation, and follow food service policies
  • Clean facility according to daily, weekly, and monthly checklists and report maintenance needs
  • Assist with recordkeeping, inventory management, and reporting as assigned
  • Participate in center staff meetings, support family recruitment, and assist in volunteer supervision
  • Provide bilingual support if applicable
  • Maintain professional behavior and uphold child safety standards at all times
