Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • at least 18 years old
  • meets all state preschool cook requirements
  • one year of experience in food planning, preparation, and service following USDA guidelines
  • preferred current Food Handler's Card or ServSafe certification
  • ability to perform physical tasks including some lifting

  • keep the kitchen organized, managing food and supply storage like a pro

  • handle dishes and maintain a spotless, efficient kitchen system
  • pitch in with extra tasks like laundry, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing toys to keep our school sparkling
  • bring energy and enthusiasm to a role that involves some lifting
  • ensure compliance with USDA food safety and preparation guidelines
