Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age or older
- comply with all company and state-specific standards and maintains validation of required credentials for the position
- ability to successfully pass a state and federal background check
- strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to connect with students
- high school diploma or GED and at least two years of experience with cooking in large quantities preferably in a school setting
- obtain or willing to obtain a ServSafe credential

Job Duties
- plan organize supervise and participate in the preparation cooking baking and serving of a variety of foods in quantity
- serve food hygienically and interact with children to model proper eating etiquette and food handling
- keep the kitchen clean and organized according to health department standards
- assist with classroom coverage morning and afternoon bus runs and other school operations
- maintain quality meal programs ensuring safe and efficient delivery of food to children
- engage students by teaching eating etiquette and proper food handling
- work collaboratively with educators administrators and families to build positive relationships
