Job Requirements
- minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of professional food service experience
- City of Columbus SafeServe certification
- ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- ability to stand for extended periods and move as required by kitchen operations
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of professional food service experience, childcare or institutional settings preferred
- City of Columbus SafeServe certification required
- proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
- preferred associate's degree in culinary arts or related field
Job Duties
- Prepare balanced, appealing meals and snacks that meet dietary and nutrition standards
- follow safe food handling and storage practices at all times
- maintain daily menu and inventory records in compliance with CCFP guidelines
- coordinate food purchasing, menu planning, and kitchen organization
- collaborate with staff to accommodate special dietary needs and menu adjustments
