Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of related work experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Compliance with health department regulations
  • Ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 30 pounds
  • Regular attendance
  • Ability to use kitchen equipment safely
  • Must not be infected with communicable food-borne diseases

Job Qualifications

  • Enrolled in high school or certified G.E.D. program or possess high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • At least six months work experience unless currently attending school
  • Ability to learn basic job routines
  • Effective communication skills
  • Compliance with health regulations and dress code
  • Ability to stand and move for up to six hours
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds repeatedly

Job Duties

  • Perform vegetable prep
  • Perform fruit prep
  • Set up salad bar
  • Handle front line and back line set-up
  • Operate meat slicer
  • Prepare catering and bread
  • Serve as sandwich maker
  • Manage chip and pickle expeditor duties
  • Restock salad bar
  • Deliver food as a runner
  • Perform bus and dishwasher duties
