Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid Utah Food Handler's Permit
  • solid understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Duties

  • Set up and stock the kitchen and prep stations before and during service
  • prepare basic components of menu items, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and making sauces
  • follow instructions and recipes provided by the kitchen manager and head chef
  • ensure all food prep and storage areas comply with health and safety regulations
  • maintain cleanliness of prep areas, including proper handling of leftovers and waste
  • monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
  • assist in cooking and plating dishes alongside the kitchen team during service
