Job Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of company and FDA standards, processes, and procedures
  • knowledge of restaurant and baking supplies, equipment, and services including ordering and inventory control

  • ability to prepare and bake a variety of pastries and baked goods

Job Duties

  • Collaborates with restaurant operations team and upper leadership team
  • must obtain a New Mexico Alcohol Server Permit
  • protects organization's value by keeping company information confidential
  • provides excellent internal and external customer service
  • works flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed
  • preps ingredients and assembles baked goods according to restaurant recipes and specifications
  • operates large-volume cooking equipment such as ovens, grills, deep-fat fryers, and slicers
  • applies glazes, icings, or other toppings to baked goods
  • verifies prepared baked goods meet quality and quantity requirements
  • cleans, stocks, and restocks workstations and display cases
  • ensures food safety and quality standards are maintained
  • assists with other restaurant functions as needed including dishwashing, cashiering, and maintenance
