Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to complete all required job trainings and assessments within prescribed time period
- Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in food preparation and cleaning
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or fresh food preparation preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to adapt to changing work scenarios and multitask effectively
- Familiarity with inventory management and equipment sanitation
- Food handler certification preferred
Job Duties
- Ensure high-quality products are available in the prepared foods area
- Maintain shelves cleanliness, temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser-quality food
- Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food
- Maintain the sales floor according to company policies and procedures including handling claims and returns, zoning, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to educate associates and communicate effectively
- Utilize digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
