Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- ability to complete job required trainings and assessments within prescribed time
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards
- capability to stand for extended periods
- flexibility to work different shifts including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to lift and carry food products
- compliance with company policies and drug-free workplace requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in food service or retail environment preferred
- knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation
- ability to follow detailed recipes and procedures
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- adaptability to changing work environments
- familiarity with digital tools and handheld devices desirable
- food handler certification is a plus
- passion for fresh food and member satisfaction
Job Duties
- Ensuring high-quality prepared food products are available
- maintaining clean shelves and temperature control
- verifying expiration dates and disposing of lesser-quality items
- preparing and serving ready-to-eat food
- maintaining the sales floor according to company policies
- properly handling claims and returns
- zoning, arranging and organizing merchandise
- identifying shrink and damages
- maintaining a clean and sanitized member-ready area
- collaborating with cross-functional teams
- educating associates on tools and resources
- communicating effectively with team members
- preparing food according to item specifications
- planning future and mass productions
- adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- managing inventory
- operating and sanitizing equipment
- using digital tools to improve sales and shopper experience
- adapting to new technology
- driving performance of the sales area
- stocking and rotating merchandise
- eliminating waste
- assisting customers as per company policies
- advocating for the department and club
- executing high-quality service and products
