Job Qualifications

- Experience with fresh food preparation
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation
- Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptability to changing work environments
- Basic proficiency with handheld technology or digital tools
- Food Handler Certification preferred
- Experience in food service preferred
Job Duties
- Ensuring high-quality products are available in prepared foods area
- Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products
- Preparing and serving ready-to-eat food
- Maintaining the sales floor by handling claims and returns, zoning areas, arranging and organizing merchandise, identifying shrink and damages
- Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and educating other associates
- Using digital tools to drive sales and elevate associate engagement
- Managing stock rotation and date control to eliminate waste
- Assisting customers according to company policies and procedures
