Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- ability to complete all required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period
- willingness to work in different areas as business needs arise
- ability to maintain high standards of food quality and safety
- excellent customer service skills
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- adherence to company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Food service experience
- food handler certification (food safety)
- knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- familiarity with inventory management and cold chain compliance
- effective communication skills
- ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- basic proficiency with digital tools and technology
Job Duties
- Ensuring high-quality products are available in the prepared foods area
- ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products
- preparing and serving ready-to-eat food
- maintaining the sales floor in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages
- maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
- collaborating with cross-functional teams and educating other associates on tools, tasks and resources
- adapting to new digital tools and utilizing hand held technology to improve business decisions and member experiences
