Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- ability to complete all job required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period
- capable of multitasking and managing various responsibilities simultaneously
- ability to stand for extended periods
- willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Passion for fresh food
- experience with food preparation
- knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- ability to follow recipes and prepare food items consistently
- good communication and teamwork skills
- adaptability to change and fast-paced environments
- basic digital literacy and comfort using handheld technology
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- food handler certification preferred
Job Duties
- Ensuring high-quality products are available in prepared foods area
- ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products
- preparing and serving ready-to-eat food
- maintaining the sales floor in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages
- maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
- collaborating with cross functional teams and educating other associates
- utilizing digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
- assisting customers according to company policies and procedures
