Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in food preparation or service preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Comfortable using digital tools and technology in the workplace
- Customer service experience is a plus
- Food Handler Certification is preferred
- Flexibility to work various shifts and areas within the store
Job Duties
- Prepare fresh food items daily following recipes
- Wrap, label, and store merchandise properly
- Assist members with bakery orders
- Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized work areas
- Monitor product quality including temperature control and expiration dates
- Dispose of lesser-quality food products
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment
- Utilize digital tools to improve production and member engagement
- Stock and rotate merchandise ensuring quality and minimizing waste
- Manage claims and returns according to company policies
- Foster a positive member shopping experience
- Adapt to changing work scenarios and business needs
