- ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- ability to follow recipes and food preparation guidelines
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Food service experience
- food handler certification (food safety)
- ability to prepare food according to item specifications
- knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- ability to operate and sanitize equipment
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- ability to adapt to changing work scenarios
Job Duties
- Ensure high-quality products are available in the prepared foods area
- maintain clean shelves and temperature control
- verify expiration dates and dispose of lesser-quality food products
- prepare and serve ready-to-eat food
- maintain the sales floor by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages
- maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
- collaborate with cross-functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources
