Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience with fresh food preparation preferred
- food handler certification preferred
- knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation guidelines

- capability to operate and maintain kitchen and preparation equipment

Job Duties
- Ensuring high-quality products are available in the prepared foods area
- ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products
- preparing and serving ready-to-eat food
- maintaining the sales floor by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages
- maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
- collaborating with cross-functional teams and educating other associates
- leveraging digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience
- driving area performance including stocking, rotating merchandise, ensuring quality and date control, and reducing waste
- assisting customers according to company policies and procedures
- complying with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- completing work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources
- communicating progress and information and recommending improvements
