Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience with fresh food preparation
- knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation
- ability to use digital tools and handheld technology
- strong communication and collaboration skills
- ability to adapt to changing work environments
- food service experience preferred
- food handler certification (food safety) preferred
Job Duties
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise
- collaborating with cross-functional teams and educating other associates
- communicating effectively with team members and adapting to business needs
- preparing food according to item specifications and planning for future production
- adhering to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance
- operating, maintaining, and sanitizing kitchen equipment
- leveraging digital tools to drive sales and improve member experience
- utilizing handheld technology for production decisions and training
- driving the performance of the area through managing inventory, stocking, rotating merchandise, and controlling waste
- providing attention and assistance to customers according to company policies
- maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the work area
- complying with company policies, ethics, and procedures
- completing work assignments collaboratively and communicating progress
- identifying improvement opportunities and adapting to change and feedback
