Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food preparation or food service preferred
- food handler certification (food safety) preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- basic math and inventory skills
- customer service orientation
- familiarity with food safety standards
- ability to use digital tools and handheld technology
Job Duties
- ensure high-quality products are available in prepared foods area
- ensure shelves are clean and maintain temperature control
- verify expiration dates and dispose of lesser-quality products
- prepare and serve ready-to-eat food
- maintain sales floor in accordance with company policies
- handle claims and returns professionally
- zone area and organize merchandise
- identify shrink and damages
- maintain a clean and sanitized member-ready area
- maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications
- collaborate with cross-functional teams
- educate other associates on tools and resources
- prepare food according to item specifications
- plan future and mass production
- adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- comply with cold chain management and inventory control
- operate and sanitize equipment
- leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve experience
- use handheld technology for business decisions
- manage stocking and rotating merchandise
- ensure quality and date control standards are met
- eliminate waste and guide peers
- assist customers according to policies
- comply with company policies and ethics
